We are inviting you to celebrate our love.
March 14, 2026 • Prague, Czech Republic
Behind every great love story are two people who found their perfect match in the most unexpected of places.
As we prepare to start our greatest chapter yet, we wanted to share a little more about who we are individually and the shared dreams that make us the couple you know and love today.
Maria works in the oil industry by day and runs on coffee, workouts, and full-time mum superpowers the rest of the time. A loving mom and fitness enthusiast, she's famous for staying calm in total chaos — right up until the exact moment agitation becomes necessary (then consider yourself warned).
She met her match at a pub by the river in London, where he appeared with long hair, a long beard, and enough strong opinions to fill the bar. She stayed for the debate — and for the enormous heart he tries to keep undercover, except when it comes to Maria and her daughter Marina.
From Santos to the world, Ricardo lives for arts, design, and epic long cycling rides across the UK on his beloved blue bike—an obsession that guarantees at least one sports injury per season. He runs his kitchen like a captain—strictly no unauthorized entry—because cooking for others is his ultimate act of love.
He chose that riverside pub for their first date with surgical precision, ensuring everything was perfect from the start. He wanted to leave no doubt about his interest, and he hasn't stopped since—spending every day doing whatever it takes to show Maria just how much he loves her.
Our journey together has been a beautiful whirlwind of shared laughter, bold adventures, and the kind of love that grows stronger with every mile traveled. Before we say 'I do,' we invite you to look back at the meaningful milestones and spontaneous moments that defined our path and led us all the way to this magical celebration.
Our first date went down at a Gordon Ramsay pub by the river in Limehouse, London — because if you're going to test romantic potential, you might as well involve good beer and celebrity-level standards. Maria arrived first (on time, composed). Ricardo made his entrance with full confidence and zero hesitation — skipped the polite greeting phase entirely and went straight in for a kiss. Bold move. Surprisingly effective. A few beers in - and their very first shared plate of padrón peppers - they were deep into conversations about tattoos, travel, and their bold plans about life. The chemistry was obvious, the banter was strong, and the decision was unanimous. They left separately — but only technically — both fully aware this was not a one-date experiment but the start of something far more permanent.

Our first trip together took us to the stunning Lago di Como — a perfect mix of romance and adventure. Traveling with Ricardo is never boring: Ubers? Standard hotels? Not our style. We hunt down hidden gems and experiences most people completely miss. We cruised the lake by boat, lingered over lunch at a charming lakeside restaurant, and Maria even took the plunge into the crystal-clear water. Between laughter, little adventures, and quiet moments by the water, we left knowing one thing for sure: traveling together is always going to be ridiculously fun… and occasionally a little wild. Ps.: On our way back, our flight was cancelled and we had another adventure finding a place to sleep and a different route home.

Our proposal story started exactly the way many of our best adventures do — with Ricardo planning a surprise and Maria being told only what to pack. The destination stayed secret right up until the boarding gate — where Croatia was finally revealed. While waiting at Gatwick airport, Ricardo casually mentioned wedding rings. Naturally, Maria responded by opening her laptop and showing him the exact ring she wanted. Plot twist — Ricardo had already bought that very same ring, with expert help from Marina. With the surprise officially too good to delay, he proposed right there in the airport. Yes — the original master plan involved a Croatian sunset. But in true us-style fashion, the real moment was spontaneous, perfectly timed — and absolutely unforgettable.

We have lovingly curated a weekend full of joy, laughter, and local Prague charm to welcome you to the city we love.
Here is the detailed schedule of events, including times and locations, for our celebration—we truly cannot wait to create these beautiful, lifelong memories by your side.
Check the local temperature and plan your outfits!
March is lovely in Prague, but a warm coat is always a good idea for the evening.
Your presence there with us is the only present we truly want. No gifts, no boxes, no mysterious wrapped objects that we have to fit into a suitcase home. Just bring your smiles, your laughter, and your questionable dance moves.
Your love and friendship mean far more to us than anything that comes with a receipt — and celebrating together is the best gift we could ask for.
Have questions about the weekend, need help with travel, or just want to reach out? Drop us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
